• COVID 19 Symptoms – What to Look for:
  • Anyone can have mild to severe symptoms. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions such as heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19.

  • The Coronavirus Self-Checker is an interactive clinical assessment tool that will assist people ages 13 and older, and parents and caregivers of children ages 2 to 12 on deciding when to seek testing or medical care if they suspect they or someone they know has contracted COVID-19 or has come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19. The online, mobile-friendly tool asks a series of questions, and based on the user’s responses, provides recommended actions and resources. Visit the Coronavirus Self Checker.
  • Similarities and Differences between Flu and COVID-19 >>
• Testing – Considerations for who Should get Tested:
  • People who have symptoms of COVID-19.
  • People who have had close contact (within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes) with someone with confirmed COVID-19.
  • People who have been asked or referred to get testing by their health care provider or by the Department of Health.
  • Not everyone needs to be tested. If you do get tested, you should self-quarantine/isolate at home pending test results and follow the advice of your health care provider or a public health professional.

• People at Increased Risk:
